About Me

I'm a graduate of the Fashion Design program at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). My specialty, my favorite part of fashion design, and really where my roots lie are in illustration...which is evident in my work. The faces I paint on my pottery and jewelry pieces evolved from my fashion illustrations.

My love of print and texture also stems from studying textile and pattern design in school. I use a variety of laces, doilies, stamps and Indian wood blocks formerly used for textile printing. I find a lot of inspiration from a variety of ethnic and tribal patterns, textiles and motifs. Many of my ceramic pieces are inspired by a rustic/cottage chic aesthetic.
